Thai food lovers would be glad to know that there is a new Thai restaurant at Tree Square- Rose's Home. The signage might not be that visually-appealing but Rose's Home is a Thai restaurant with a big Thai menu. You can find all familiar Thai delights here- from appetizers to proteins or even desserts. The place has limited seating and if you are planning to visit in a large group, do make early reservation. Price-wise, the dishes are priced slightly above average.
We started with the Thai Som Tam- good flavors and texture but the Chili kick was somewhat muted. We did not enjoy the Green Curry Vegetables and Tofu too, we thought the Green Curry was rather diluted and not as creamy as we would have hoped. Cha Om on the other hand, was good though. The Omelette was beautifully cooked with a nice eggy aroma. We also like the Chicken Massaman Curry- despite the look of it being overly watery, the flavors were there. The Tom Yum Seabass Whole Fish was alright- the fish was fresh and the Tom Yum soup was okay. Again, we would prefer the dishes to be spicier. Overall, none of the dishes disappoint but none of them manage to wow us as well. For the portion (with that prices), we thought the dishes did not offer good values in return.
