A new addition that joined All Seasons Place (Air Hitam) in January 2025- Claypot Foodie 煲仔家庭煲仔饭, specializes in Cantonese-style Claypot Rice. On top of the rice options, there are some noodle choices as well as some additional sides. Dishes are reasonably priced and the restaurant is air-conditioned. Pretty decent and worth a try if you are in the vicinity- go for their signature Claypot Rice series and you will not be disappointed.

Mushroom Chicken Claypot Rice (Rm 15.90) with Egg (Rm 1.50)

Signature Hot Pot Soup with Beef Slices (Rm 16.90)

Xiao Long Bao (Rm 8.80 for 4 pcs)

We did not go for the popular option which is the Cantonese-style Lap Mei Claypot Rice but we had Mushroom Chicken Claypot Rice instead. There were bits of crispy scorched rice at the bottom and we enjoyed the dish for being reasonably seasoned. The delightful burnt aroma was present too; good on its own but even better with their homemade Chili paste (with a hint of Dou Ban Jiang). Our only complaint- prefer to have more Mushrooms and Chicken. The Noodles on the other hand, did not fare well in our opinion. The broth was somewhat similar to a watered down version of Sukiyaki- slightly sweet with a heavy Soy Sauce flavor. The portion seemed smaller than the rice too. Skip the Xiao Long Bao- thick dumpling skin with very little broth inside.
