Hidden in the residential neighborhood of Sungai Ara, Grower's Home is housed in one of the bungalows at (Jalan Sungai Ara 5) Sungai Ara. The home bakery churns out daily fresh bakes but only open for dine-in 2 days in a week (every Wednesday and Saturday). The rest of the days will be on delivery or can be found at other locations. Expect to find some really quality bakes here including rustic loaves, homemade cakes and delicious pastries. The offering might not be too extensive but it will definitely excite any bread lovers.

Not recommended for those looking for full-fledged meal here, more like a place for light meals and afternoon cakes. Something filling was the Chicken Bakwa Potato Salad Sando; Japanese-inspired Potato Salad with a slice of Chicken Bakwa served with their Sourdough. We like the addition of Cucumbers here for the extra crunch and bite but slightly underwhelmed with the absence of Eggs. The concoction was nicely done nevertheless, a very creative local way of incorporating Bak Kwa and Potato Salad. We enjoyed the Sourdough Pretzel a lot- the texture was amazing. You get the much desired chewiness there but not overly hard to the bite. It was lightly salted and good on its own. We topped up a little for their Honey Mustard and Cream Cheese dip but we did not really think they were necessary. For sweet, we had the Prune Walnut Carrot Cake which we thought it was decent. The cake itself ticked all the boxes in terms of Cinnamon flavor and nutty texture from the Walnuts but the Cream Cheese could be more exciting.
