Housed in Ideal One Foresta (Sungai Ara) Bayan Lepas, Noodle and Bread Tea House 麵包茶室 is like the community canteen for those living in the neighborhood, the inexpensive and tummy-satisfying options are ideal for a quick fix. The kitchen churns out some simple rice and noodle choices but the place is popular for its Hakka Mee. Fresh bakes like bread and pastries are also available. Not something that one should go all out for but if you happen to be in the neighborhood, this can be a decent option.

Signature Hakka Mee (Rm 7.90 for large + Rm 1.50 for Braised Egg)

Braised Pork Mee (Rm 10.90 for large)

Fish Ball Soup (Rm 4.90 for small)

Deep Fried Wan Ton (Rm 3 for 4 pcs)

Iced Lemon Tea (Rm 3)

2 popular noodle options- the Hakka Noodles or Braised Meat Noodles; flat noodles were used for the Hakka Noodles while the typical Wan Ton Noodles were used for the latter one. Both seem identical but can be very different at the same time, both texture and taste. Both were pretty decent in our opinion but a pity that they did not have fresh Chilies when we asked for some. They offered Chili Sauce which somehow did not really go well with the noodles. The rest of the sides were okay, nothing disappoint here.
