One of the favorite supper places for nearby residents is undeniably Curry Noodles House (北海咖哩面之家) which can be found along the ubiquitous food lane of Raja Uda, . Tucked within the shop houses along Jalan Raja Uda, Curry Noodles House (北海咖哩面之家) specializes in offering Curry Mee as well as some other additional "add-ons". Guests are able to top their Curry Mee with their own preferred ingredients but all of the ingredients share a common characteristic- to be doused with their home-made Curry Sauce. Well, I thought the foods we had were disappointingly average and I do not think that I am willing to travel that far just for a bowl of ordinary Curry Mee.

Curry Noodles House's signature Curry Mee (Rm 4/ regular) which comes with some Long Beans, Tofu Puffs/ Tofu Pok, Coagulated Pig Blood and Cockles. Unlike most Curry Mee stalls, their version appeared to be slightly thicker, richer and creamier. The flavorful stock has a discernible aroma of Coconut Cream/ Santan while the home-made Chili Paste heighten the flavors by adding an extra chili kick. A decent Curry Mee but not mind-blowing.

Add-on is possible at additional costs. Guests are to choose their own preferred ingredients and the restaurateur will serve them to you. Most of the dishes there will be curry-based and to be very frank, all of the dishes tasted almost similar after a taste or two- heavily drenched with their home-cooked Curry Sauce, one can hardly tell the significant differences between those dishes. I had a Chicken Drumstick at Rm 4 each and Okra at Rm 1 each. Cheap? Not quite and it does not taste as impressive as I would have hoped, you might love the Curry if you are someone who prefers bold flavors- spicy but oily. Also, I thought some White Rice should work better than Curry Mee though.....

Other options include Clams, Prawns, Pork Meat, Stingray, Squids etc....
